Solacure products are sold in dozens of countries by independent distributors who are responsible for their own warranties. You should contact your distributor for warranty information, as the below does not apply to orders outside of North America.Parts (other than fluorescent tubes and LEDs)
All ballasts and parts (including ballasts, lamp holders, protective goggles, etc) are guaranteed against failure for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If the item is defective, the customer may call for a return authorization, and after testing, a replacement item of the exact same type will be shipped to the customer. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.Fluorescent tubes and LED Manufacturer's Warranty
All ultraviolet bulbs / lamps are guaranteed against failure (no light) for 1 year from the date of purchase or delivery. This does not include physical damage, abuse, modification, wrong size purchased or performance (covered below). Shipping damage is automatically covered under a separate policy if claims are made within 7 days of receiving the damaged goods. To make a claim, contact us at 1-800-600-8118 within 7 days of receiving your products for instructions on returning them. If the product is shown to be defective and covered within the policies herein, we will replace them with the same brand, model and size at no cost to you. Solacure will cover the cost of shipping during the first 30 days after delivery, the customer will be responsible for shipping after that period.Damage in shipping
Damage is rare, but often we know before it even gets to you via Fedex's website and notifications. Often, we will ship replacements before the first shipment gets to you. In the event that we have shipped replacements and you request a refund, you will be liable for all shipping charges, just as you would for any other money back guarantee claim. If you aren't asking for a refund, there is no extra fee for shipping when there is damage.
Insurance is not available from Fedex and we must self-insure, as most shipments are glass tubes. We can only extend this insurance to the 48 contiguous states. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other countries are not insurable , although we will try to work with you in the event of damage.Non-defective Return Policy
Unused lamps that are in their original packaging can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase if the lamps purchased were the wrong size, wattage or compatibility. All transportation costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Any damage while being shipped back is the responsibility of the customer. A restocking fee of 15% to 25% of the purchase price (depending upon item and condition returned) MAY be charged for non-defective returns. Items are non-returnable once used or modified if non-defective.Ultraviolet Bulb / Lamp Performance Guarantee
Every ultraviolet bulb / lamp we sell is guaranteed to perform according to the original specifications filed with the FDA, plus or minus 10%, for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase or delivery. In the event you want to make a performance based claim, this policy is your sole relief. This Performance Guarantee isn't designed to compare one lamp to another, and is based on only on a lamps conformity to it's original specifications.
To make a claim, you must first call us for authorization within 90 days of receiving your lamps at 1-800-600-8118. Claims can not be made after this time under any circumstance. Once you have authorization, ship the lamps back to either our main office or testing facility (you will be given an address when you call). We will then forward the lamps to our testing facility and perform full spectrum testing on the lamps.
1. If the lamps are found to conform to the original specification (plus or minus 10%), we will ship the lamps back to the customer and they will be billed all transporation costs, plus a nominal fee for testing.
2. If the lamps are found to be out of specification, we will replace the lamps with the exact same brand, size and model from a different batch.Size, Compatibility and Wattage
We will ship the size and wattage requested by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect and insure the lamp is the correct size and wattage for their applications and that the lamp is compatible with their fixtures. We are not responsible for damage to the lamps caused by using the wrong wattage, or for legal compliance with any state or local laws, under any circumstances. We can not accept any returns of lamps that have been used in a way that is inconsistent with normal usage, have been misused or abused, or have been modified.Legal Notice:
