To buy from us means you need to call or email us your name, number, phone and what it is you want to buy, then we will send you a PayPal invoice. You don't need a PayPal account to use this feature, and you can use any Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover or PayPal feature like 6 months same as cash. It is your choice. All prices are in US$ and conversion is done at time of payment by Paypal, and *shouldn't* incur any additional fees.
Normally, you would expect to just buy online, but it is a bit more complicated due to Canadian taxes, duty, brokers, oversize, etc, so we have to do it this way as the website isn't smart enough to differentiate based on country of origin, and we don't want to overcharge you.
What we will do is calculate shipping, duty, Canadian sales tax and broker fees, and send you an invoice for this amount. Charging you these fees ahead of time has two advantages: One, there are no surprises. you order, you get your package, you don't owe anything else, you don't have to go down and pay anything. Secondly, because it is prepaid, it flies through Customs and is on your door in as little as 3 days after ordering.
Average costs for a four foot, 2 bulb 2 fixture kit is $95 for shipping, duty, taxes and Canadian sales tax. That means you will owe $0 when it arrives, everything is prepaid. Cost for shipping 16 Flower Power or SG1 bulbs (no fixtures), or two of the 2 bulb kits is around $140. This is just an average, it can vary depending on where you live and the dollar value of the contents, as Canadian tax is included.
